Scentsy Success

Just a quick post to share about the amazing growth happening in Scentsy right now! This month, I was happy to welcome two more members to my Scentsy team. Bringing my total team to 5 members! 2 of my team members advanced this month to Certified Consultant. 1 had previously advanced to the same level. I am also advancing this month, again!, to Star Consultant!! I am so excited to see my team mates growing and succeeding! Scentsy is still amazing me with the simplicity of being a consultant. I am not doing anything much differently than I was when I first started. I don't have to put out a lot of time or money to grow my business. Mostly, I just have to share it with others. Then they are excited to share it with their friends!

My team Director, has been sharing Scentsy for 2 1/2 yrs and her team is exceeding $500,000 in sales this month! While I am excited about the three advancements on my personal downline, in our team as a whole, it has just been incredible to see all the advancements! I see post after post on facebook about my fellow Scentsy consultants gaining ranks, all the way to the top! Great job team! And thank you, to Scentsy, for making our success possible!

Yes, Scent-fabulous! That's what I said!!

First off - Happy Veteran's Day!! I am proud to sell warmers that support our troops! And I am proud of our past and current service men and women!! Thank you all!!

My most exciting news is my 2 new team members who signed on this month!! Welcome to Kimberly and Quinta! I am CRAZY excited about where we are headed with Scentsy!! I just became Lead Consultant, now it looks like within the next month or 2 I'll move up to Star Consultant. I am also finding out new things about myself, like how much I LOVE helping my team members SUCCEED in their new businesses! It is so fun to see my team members grow!

So much news coming out of the Scentsy office! There are many new products being offered in the new catalog this fall - including little stuffed animals that come with a Scent Pak. They are called Scentsy Buddies! Boy are these guys cute! They will be interactive with the computer similiar to Webkins. Here's a picture of Mollie the Monkey! There is also a pig, elephant, frog, lamb, and lion. They are all adorable!

There is also a hand sanitizer being offered in 5 different scents. Lots of new scents and warmers, too! Please check out my facebook page for a in depth look at the new products!

I'm just trying to contain my excitement as I look forward to moving up in my consultant status. Looking at my numbers, I should be a Lead Consultant next month . . . and a Star Consultant soon after that. What a great motivator for me to share my Scentsy opportunity with others!! Woohoo!

I also got the Scent of the Month in for August and it is amazing! I was pretty surprised that it was so good. When I saw the name "Citrus Sun Tea", I was skeptical. It is great though! The "Paradise Punch" for July has also been very popular. I love the amazing variety in Scentys'
scents!!

Here is a really cute picture of the President and CEO of Scentsy - Heidi and Orville - celebrating the Anniversary of the first time they met - 20 years ago. Orville said that when you don't buy flowers often, do it right when you do buy them! So sweet! I'm happy to work for a company with such strong family values. Thanks Heidi and Orville!

For the full month of June I think I have been distracted by the anticipation of JULY! So, now we are here and it's time to celebrate! Summer is such a fun and busy time. At Scentsy, we are celebrating 6 yrs in business!! Here is a picture of Heidi and Orville Thompson, Scenty's President and CEO (and founders). What a fun company to be a part of!!

A note from my Director . . .

"Wow, what an amazing company we are a part of! A little over two years ago I started my Scentsy journey with an idea of simply making enough money to cover the cost of my starter kit. Well, that was done rather quickly and our financial goal of becoming debt free gets closer and closer every day! Earning incentive trips was not a part of my mindset either. Earning the Cablecars to Coconuts was a great achievement that I hope each one of you sees as motivation. If it can happen for this stay-at-home, homeschooling, mother of 6, it can happen for you. We had our orientation breakfast this morning where Orville and Heidi Thompson shared. Orville talked about goals and how we need to re-evaluate goals because they change along the way. I want to encourage each of you to re-evaluate what your goals are with Scentsy and make those goals come to pass. Heidi shared about how she has seen working moms come home to be with children and people who could not pay their mortgage pay their bills through Scentsy! I just got my second basket party for the month back today. Thanks to my hostesses, I made my sales goal for the month. My hostess from this basket party earned $115 worth of Scentsy for only $40!! Scentsational Summer Fun

Lots of fun and exciting products to choose from this summer! In addition to our Spring/Summer Catalog and our Warmer/Scents of the month - Scentsy has introduced a new warmer top to apply to the "Candy Shoppe" wamer. This will be available in June and is blue with stars, so the warmer can be dressed up for the Fourth of July or to match your Americana theme. During the month of June the top will be discounted, when bought with the Candy Shoppe Wamer it will be only $5. Then in July, we are offering up 20 of our discontinued scents. These will be available in July ONLY! I am excited to try some of these scents for the first time! Especially French Vanilla and Strawberry Sweetie!!

Update on my first Scentsy Goal:

So, you may remember (or you may have never read this before:)) that my first goal with Scentsy was to raise enough $$ to go to Portland, Oregon to visit my very good friend who had just had a baby. Well....

I MADE MY GOAL! This is a picture of my youngest with my friends baby - he's now 5 months old. I took my youngest (here) for free and also took my oldest child. We had a blast! We went to the Oregon Coast for a day and mostly just enjoyed my friend and having our families together. What a BLESSING!

Scentsy's Warmer of the Month for May - Nature's Haven. One of my favorites for sure! The Scents of the Month is called Clarity. Both are 10% off for the month of May. I bought this warmer for myself & I LOVE IT!! Great for Spring & Summer.

Mini-Basket Testers

I love how everytime I think I'm going to have a slow week or month, things just explode! I'm really not working too hard on my Scentsy business right now. I'm pretty busy with the every day tasks of running a family. Yet, parties and opportunities just pop up out of nowhere! I love Scentsy and the flexibility it offers me. I love the product, too! I've been having lots of fun with some of our new sales helpers - the mini basket testers. Now I can carry all 80 scents in a small purse size bag. This will make it easy for me to send "basket parties" long distances also!

Red Candy Apple is Scent of the Month for April along with the ABCs warmer - perfect for that special teacher! These are 10% off for the month of April.

We had a great trip to Louisville, KY in March. We learned a lot! We were also inspired by the speakers and the Scentsy numbers. This company is amazing! If you are in Kentucky, you should really sign up to sell! (Well, I think everyone should, but that's just me!) The opportunities with Scentsy are just incredible! Scentsy is the fastest growing direct sales company in HISTORY! And it's no wonder why -even in recesssion - Scentsy is flourishing. It is a great product!

I was #6 in my team for sales for the month of February! Yay! March was a bit slower for me due to some sickness, but that's okay. I still did pretty good and I really don't feel pressured to sell. I'm looking forward to a fun April!

New Bars!

Beginning this month, our Scent Bars (3.2 oz) and Bricks (16 oz) will come in a curvy package. The new Bars provide 33% more wax for the same price! The
Bricks are also now sectioned off similar to the Bars, so they are easier to break apart.

I have already been enjoying the Scent of the Month: Spring Clean!

I had another great month in Febuary, thanks to our 10% off sale and my fabulous hostesses! Scentsy continues to be a blessing in my life. I also learned that I had the eigth highest sales on my team for the month of January! I did meet my Level 1 sales goal, so I was awarded with a cute Scentsy lapel pin and a $50 product credit! This month Scenty is hosting a "World Tour" stop in Louisville, KY, so I am so excited to attend and have some fun time with my Scentsy Sisters. It will also be wonderful to see some of my Scentsy team speak at the conference. My Director also just found out that whe was elgible for Scentsy's "Cable Cars to Coconuts" trip. She and her husband will be traveling to San Fransico and then, Hawaii!! What a great way to celebrate 2 yrs with the company!

Spring/Summer Excitement!

Here are a few of our new products.

Scentsy just released our new Spring/Summer Catalog to the Consultants and we are SO excited to share what's inside. It's going to be hard to wait until March to share it with our customers!! For now, we are focusing on booking parties in March, so we are putting our excitement and energy to good use.

I am fast approaching my 70 day mark. It has certainly gone by quickly. I am sooo close to Level 2 in the Scentsational Start sales award and only have a few more days to reach it. I am happy to have gotten to Level 1 though, so either way I will be content.

I have two home parties booked this month and lots of possibilities with my basket parties!!

My First "Home Party"

My party went off perfectly! How blessed am I to get to hang out with wonderful women and get paid for it?! My hostess' 3 yr old daughter stayed for the party and couldn't get enough of the Bubblegum Scent!! We had a great time, had awesome sales, and I even booked a party for February!! I couldn't have asked for more. My hostess got over $135 in free product and 6 1/2 priced items. Plus, since one of her guests booked a party, she'll get another 1/2 off product when she attends their party!

So with that, I made my goal of "Level One" for my "Scentsational Starts" award for my first 70 days. I actually have close to two weeks left, so I could even get close to level 2 by then!

I signed up for the Scent of the Month subscription also, so now I'll get everything pictured above each month in the kit. I am really enjoying the "Vanilla Suede" already! I'm looking forward to what February will bring!

Certified Consultant

Oh, did I mention how awesome Scentsy was?? I'm lovin' it! I was just promoted to the next level of commission and I have a new title: Certified Consultant! Yay! I'm just having lots of fun with Scentsy. I have been blessed with the BEST team of ladies to help teach me everything I need to know. These ladies have had much success with Scentsy and are happy to help me each step of the way! They are contually inspiring to me. Tonight I lead my very first home party - I can hardly believe I've done so much just on Basket Parties! This party will probably be my biggest so far.

While January has been double the 1/2 price items for my hostesses, in February we are having a 10% off sale! This is 10% off nearly everything in the catalog!
